2005: Management and employees spin-off to establish OSL Steamship Corp. with a focus on the China – West Africa trade

February 2010: OSL acquired 2 high-quality 18,500dwt modern Handysize bulkers to offer clients a wider range of services and improve flexibility. An additional 4 new 35,000dwt are on order, the Yangtze Spirit, Asia Spirit, China Spirit, and Pacific Spirit, with delivery scheduled in 2012.

November 2010: OSL completed a significant capital raising from private equity firm CLSA Capital Partners (www.clsacapital.com) to help expand the company’s asset base. As part of this capital raise, OSL Steamship Corp. is reorganized and renamed into OSL Shipping Limited which focuses on the chartering and operations of the company. OSL Assets Limited is also founded and constitutes the asset base of the company

June 2011: Beijing office opened

July 2011:OSL ordered 2 new additional 36,000dwt vessels due to be delivered in 2013

Jan 2012: OSL took delivery of MV Yangtze Spirit
